The Thruhike98 username refers to my 1998 end-to-end “thru-hike” of the 2,175 mile (3,500 kilometer) Appalachian Trail. This was an awesome experience that I recommend to anyone interested in attempting it. Now stop reading blogs and get outside. It’s better for you.
